“ I was at the restaurant this past Wednesday. I LOVE THEIR PIZZA! It’s the best!! But those burgers they serve on Wednesday’s only are the BEST burgers I’ve ever eaten in Lacrosse or Onalaska! “ It's awesome they'll make a half and half pizza. Had a half sausage, half bacon and fig jam and it was as good as it gets. The pistachio gelato hit the perfect pistachio notes and wasn't overly sweet. Really happy to have found this place while in Lacrosse. Edit. I went back for lunch and tried a few more slices. Got hot honey pepperoni and burrata and they were also fantastic. ”
“ Able to mix and match halves of pizzas. We had a 1/2 hot honey pepperoni, 1/2 sausage and giardiniera. The texture of the crust on these pizzas was perfect. The the bits of fresh basil on the pepperoni half made just a really nice accent to the slice. It is an order at the counter type place (they also sell by the slice), they'll bring your pizza to your table, and there is a little service area to grab paper plates and napkins. ”

“ Pizzeria Dolorosa did NOT disappoint, very opposite to that - it was superbly superb. I got a white garlic sauce topped with mushrooms and caramelized onion pizza and spent each bite guessing the ingredients. Seemed like a hint of blue cheese. Whatever it was - wow. Kristof raved about his red sauce meat pizza that also had caramelized onion. Both of us raved about the crust, crispy with a bit of crunch from cornmeal - very East Coast (my original home) - then a thin soft tasty crust near spicy, savoury toppings. They gave us a hot pepper powder that was hard to figure out as well. A bit smoky, a bit chipotle, not hot, but spicy nice. I loaded my takeaways with it. I had a Paul Busey cocktail with grapefruit juice that also had something spicy and salty. We like when our taste buds dance! ”
